K104 Cupcake Wars

Have you guys heard of K104's Cupcake Wars? Every Friday since March 30th they've been inviting Hudson Valley bakers into the K104 studio during the Woodman & the Morning Show to compete. One baker is chosen each week to be a finalist.

Entries are judged on presentation, taste, and creativity and the winner will be crowned at K104's First Annual Cupcake Festival on May 6th on Main Street in Fishkill (ummm, that sounds like somewhere I definitely want to be!).

This week one of our contributor's, Jess from Flour Girls, is competing! Jess is planning to make vanilla toffee cupcakes with mocha buttercream, a chocolate-covered coffee bean and a chocolate drizzle.
